The COVID-19 pandemic is a big challenge for the agri and food industry. The sector is facing serious difficulties and increasing pressure to compensate lost income and to prevent further potential losses. The sector needs to find solutions for the efficient implementation of the EU Waste Framework and Single Use Plastic Directives, shortage of seasonal workers, regular prices, meeting the requirements of plant operations during COVID-19, and more.
To discuss these issues and develop a plan of action, we are calling an online working group meeting of the AmCham Agri, Food and FMCG Committee on Tuesday, April 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (on Webex).
