Don't get lost in translation!
While we all feel that we are part of the international business community, there are still areas in which Polish managers misread US corporate culture as well as individual codes of communication.
To help us all, the next Marketing and Communication Committee will provide hands-on support for how to work in an international environment and be understood well. From e-mail signoffs, to presentation skills, to differing attitudes toward suppliers, we'll discuss some of the common challenges faced by Polish employees of American companies and look at how to deal with them. We will be coached by Nathaniel Espino, an American with 20 years of experience in Poland, who adapted this presentation from one he gave to Polish companies as part of the American Investor Desk program.
