Climate change issues have dynamically become not just a scientific question but a business issue. Due to regulatory, social pressures and the financial industry's expectations present in our dynamic environment, we see that there is more stress on companies in addressing these issues from the perspective of their business strategy and business model across the entire value chain. Due to the impact of climate change that is ever so present with uncertainty lingering on its effects, it is essential to develop a risk-based management approach in the long run. Climate risks created by companies should be mapped out, such as the effects on the company itself as well as the way in which the company affects the climate is a signpost of priorities that the company should address in the face of the coming transformation.
