For almost half a year now, e-invoice has been a solution available and recognized by the Polish tax system. Polish National e-Invoice System - KSeF - is one of the first in the EU that made structured XML invoices available to companies. The Ministry of Finance announced that e-invoice is planned to become obligatory in the second Quarter of 2023 in all B2B transactions.
Is that a threat or an opportunity? Automatization of invoicing processes, avoiding the risk of mistakes, higher global compliance, or simply speeding up the whole invoicing process shall be quickly adopted by businesses. On the other hand – a limited experience of both business and the regulator, together with a short lead time to introduce an obligatory solution, potential limitations of the governmental platform, especially for large companies – all that should make you think: Are we KseF ready?
