Poland's appeal as a job destination for Ukrainian workers is significantly decreasing. The competition for good employees may become even more fierce as Germany is planning to ease labor market requirements for non-EU workers starting January next year. Which policies can be implemented to encourage Ukrainian workers to come to Poland and what are the main challenges and best practices when recruiting and hiring from the Ukraine?
On behalf of the AmCham HR Committee, we invite you to a meeting on Best Strategies in Recruitment and Retention of Employees from the Ukraine and Eastern Europe. We will be joined by speakers from Adecco Poland, an AmCham member company and a representative of the Ukrainian community in Poland, we will hear from them on:
- An overview of the current and a prognosis of the future demography of Poland;
- The scale of economic migration to Poland (data analysis based on white and blue collar employees and different sectors);
- Main requirements and challenges of Ukrainian workers in Poland (case study);
- Best practices for recruitment and retention of Ukrainian workers in Poland.
The meeting will take place on April 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the AmCham Boardroom, Spektrum Tower, ul. Twarda 18, 16th floor.
