Event Details

The session speakers will be Katarzyna Rodziewicz and Krzysztof Kłapa, both form Ronald McDonald Foundation.

Krzysztof will take you on a journey, 'Towards CSR' deliberating on the role of CSR in his (and hopefully your) career. Katarzyna will tell us more about Ronald McDonald Foundation – aims, the way to get there, and their daily work.

Due to pandemic limitations, you will not be able to see the whole Ronald McDonald house inside. Instead of that, you will have a chance to view pre-recorded video and ask as many questions as possible.

What for? As promised, I want to move you to the next phase of the program, where you will have a chance not only to act but also to create something positive and … help others. Be there to understand what the foundation really does and how they do it today. Additionally, we will tell you: what, when and with whom you will be encouraged to do!

A graduate of the University of Warsaw, he has a several-year academic career behind him. An expert with over 25 years of experience in communication and public relations. During his many years of professional career, he also managed HR, training and franchise departments. He created the strategy and was responsible for all internal and external communication of the brand in Poland. For many years he has specialized in the field of social communication, co-author of CSR campaigns and programs. He was active in the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland and the Food Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From April 2002, a member of the Management Board of the Ronald McDonald Foundation, from April 2018 to August 2020, the President of the Foundation's Management Board, from September 2020 as the Vice President.

The foundation is social commitment, socially beneficial values and people who want to share their potential with others. If the activities are to last over time and bring multiple effects, there is no better organizational form than a foundation. During the first 16 years, Katarzyna Nowakowska gathered business experience, managed communication and investor relations of one of the listed companies. She was active in the National Coalition to Fight Breast Cancer and was a volunteer in the 'Communication without barriers' and coordinator of the renewal of the oncology ward for children at the hospital at ul. Działdowska in Warsaw. Honored with the title of 'Friend of the Hospital'. Since 2010, he has been the Executive Director of the Foundation. For years, she has been involved in the promotion of the idea of CSR - corporate social responsibility.
