Green buildings are no longer an exception; they instead appear to be a competitive must as companies keep turning to new, more efficient techniques, especially when it comes to modern office buildings.

On behalf of the AmCham Real Estate Committee, we invite you to a meeting entitled Green buildings – are they attractive for end-users only, or is there something more?

Our speakers will be Ms. Mariola Bitner, Associate and Mr. Paweł Klimczak, H&S and FM Operations Practice Leader of Cushman & Wakefield; Mr. Mariusz Wawer, Head of Governmental Relations at 3M Poland & East Europe Region and Mr. Robert Sztemberg, Business Development Director at JLL.

We will discuss:

Which buildings are becoming greener?
Who benefits from green buildings?
Why do industrial companies, office developers, and investors consider green solutions?

Mariola Bitner is a Project Manager with over 15 years of professional experience. During her career, she has been responsible for several cross-border commissions and projects. Most notably she led fit-out and workplace strategy projects for the likes of Huawei, Shell, Orange, and HP. During the last 2 years, she worked also with DEKA Immobilien, Unilever, and Nationale Nederlanden. Moreover, she was a project manager responsible for the fit-out of Cushman & Wakefield new HQ in Poland.
As the Client Account Manager, she was responsible for the European region. She played a key role in the management of the Client’s office portfolio account, dealing regularly with leadership, and ensuring the successful linkage between all stakeholders across multiple European geographies and service lines. Currently Mariola takes care of operational and financial matters in the Project & Development Services Department, manages key internal and external client accounts and interfaces with other Cushman & Wakefield teams both in Poland and internationally.

Paweł is the H&S and Operations Practice Leader of the Cushman & Wakefield’s technical team. He is well-versed in creating maintenance and technical management strategies for commercial properties. Paweł is responsible for procuring third-party services for the properties under management, liaising with Cushman & Wakefield’s Health & Safety EMEA Head as well as with technical and property managers to ensure the highest quality of the services provided. His duties also include supervising the handover process and leading the team of technical managers responsible for conducting internal quality audits in the managed properties. Prior to his joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2017, Paweł worked as Shopping Center Manager for Unibail Rodamco and Atrium Real Estate Management. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Property Manager Certificate no. 14802 and BREEM In-USE assessor licence. Paweł has being a member at IFMA Polska and Proptech Foundation.
